On April 17th, with the gentle spring breeze and the tulips in full bloom, Kong Lingfeng, a member of the Party Group of Jining Municipal Finance Bureau, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Government Investment and Financing Service Center, led government and corporate representatives to visit and conduct research at the Qingdao Tulip Project. Accompanied on the research tour were Zhao Ruiyang, Deputy Mayor of Pingdu City; Zhang Li, a senior researcher from Qingdao Municipal Finance Bureau; Duan Zheng, Secretary of the Guxian Town Party Committee, as well as Li Jianwei, Chairman of Qingdao Gupu International Modern Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
During their visit to the park, Kong Linfeng and his team inquired about various aspects of the operation model, tulip market demand, sales channels, and economic benefits of the Qingdao Tulip Project.They gained a detailed understanding of key aspects such as tulip cultivation techniques, harvesting, storage, and industry chain extension, showing keen interest in the meticulous management and market potential of the tulip industry.
At the symposium, Deputy Mayor Zhao Ruiyang first warmly welcomed Kong Linfeng and his team and briefly introduced the current status and planning of agricultural development in Pingdu City. Following that, Li Jianwei elaborated on the tulip industry model, its current state, and future prospects while sharing Gupu's advantages and strategic layout in bulb breeding, planting techniques, equipment facilities, and overseas markets. He pointed out that tulips not only have high ornamental value but also have a broad demand space in the cut flower, bulb, and home gardening markets. Jining City has rich agricultural resources and possesses natural advantages for developing the tulip industry. He expressed the hope that through deep cooperation with Jining City, this beautiful industry could be introduced to Jining, injecting new vitality into local agricultural development and rural revitalization.
Kong Lingfeng expressed his agreement, believing that this inspection and research have provided new ideas and methods for the transformation and upgrading of Jining's agricultural industry and the rural revitalization strategy. He hopes that both parties can explore more opportunities for cooperation in the tulip industry and facility agriculture field.
