UV Disinfection Unit

The UV disinfection unit has been developed to disinfect drain water from the greenhouses. To guarantee the termination of fungi, viral infections and other organic contamination in the drain water the water is exposed to high levels of UV-C radiation. The long duration of this water to this exposure at these high levels makes sure of a perfect disinfection. This ensures safe recycling of the drain water without the risk of an infection outbreak.

The UV-CX, with a capacity of 20 m³/hour up to 100 m³/hour. Depending on the required capacity the number of lamps varies from 6 to 24. The QEP UV-CX uses a reliable and highly efficient UV-C lamp. Combined with a strong construction the running costs are kept low without compromising the effectiveness of the UV disinfection unit.
