Going forward, the center will fully leverage its role as a key project to transform the park into an integrated full-industry chain park featuring tulip cultivation, fresh-cut flowers, themed gardens, tourism development, product deep processing, and bulb breeding. In the future, the park will gradually integrate advanced Dutch planting experience and automated equipment into the project, aiming to promote the refined and intelligent development of China's floriculture, comprehensively ensure the quality and safety of floral products, and drive the green and sustainable development of the floriculture industry.
Qingdao Tulip Project, which is also a collaboration between Gupu and Qingdao Agricultural University to establish the "Gupu Modern Agricultural Industry Research Institute," exemplifies the full utilization of its professional advantages in breeding technology. This initiative deepens the integration of production, education, research, and application, aiming to transform scientific achievements into practical outcomes. By combining these elements, it will gradually address the issue of high-quality tulip seeds, fostering new agricultural productivity through technological innovation and supporting Qingdao's efforts to become a pioneer in rural revitalization strategies with science and technology-driven agriculture.
